The Arcetri 2012 Workshop on Plasma Astrophysics will be held

in Florence, Italy, 5-8 (Monday to Thursday) November 2012 

hosted by the University of Florence, Astronomy Section.

The sessions will be held in the Astronomy Section, located

on the hill of Arcetri in Florence (see map in Location and Venue). 

The address of the gate is Largo Enrico Fermi 2, Florence.

The workshop will explore theoretical topics in plasma dynamics

with an emphasis on solar, heliospheric and galactic problems of

current interest. Contributions based on simulations, observations,

and fundamental theory are welcome.

We kindly ask you to register and submit a title for your 

presentation by October 15 in order to streamline the 

workshop organization.

We are hopeful that everyone will have the opportunity

to present a talk. But you are also welcome to just come, 

listen and discuss.

Registration fee should be around 100 euros, its exact value

will be determined once the number of participants is known.

This will be used to have catered lunches and coffee breaks.

Registration fee and payment for the social dinner (planned

on Wednesday evening, at a cost ~ 30-35 euros, in a restaurant TBD)

cannot be made online. We are sorry for the inconvenience

but we can collect payments only at the workshop in cash,

and only in euros. Receipts will be provided.
