Coaxial Cables

Coaxial cable lines are high frequency transmission cables that replaces the multiple wires of telephone lines with a single solid copper core. The coaxial cable has the capacity to transmit information 80 times faster then the twisted pair. Cable lines are most frequently used to link parts of a computer system within the same building. The coaxial cable is approximately 7.62 mm in diameter, 4.99 mm larger than phone lines.
