Subject: SCEN103 students: Welcome to SCEN103

Welcome to Silicon, Circuits, and the Digital Revolution.
I am looking forward to working with you this term --
this is the first offering of SCEN103 as an Honors colloquium;
I hope you enjoy it and learn a lot from our work together.

If you have been to the bookstore, you know by now that we do not use a
standard textbook in this course. We will use primarily pages from the
course website at <http://www.physics.udel.edu/~watson/scen103/colloq2000/>
and other materials available online.

Your first assignment is to find the course website, click on the Si-14
key, and complete the initial survey. Please do this as soon as possible
-- definitely before our first class meeting.

Some pages of our website will be protected behind a password.
When a request for password arises please use:
UserName: scen103
Password: *******

Please note that the /colloq2000/ site is currently under construction.
You may look over last year's course by clicking on the hyperlinks on the
homepage.

See you in class on Wednesday...
