PHYS208 Fundamentals of Physics II

Extension of Ch. 29, 54E

After evaluating the force on each current segment, find the net torque exerted about the axis of rotation (which is where?) by direct evalution of r x F for each segment.

Calculate the magnetic dipole moment of this triangular current loop and evaluate the torque from mu x B. Compare to previous answer!
