All about me
My name is Tareque Aziz. I am a graduate student in the department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Delaware.
I am from Bangladesh.
I was born at Sylhet,the most beautiful place on the face of the world.I did my MS in Physics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology,Sylhet. Then I did M.Phil at BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology), Dhaka. Afterwards, I packed up my bags to come to US. I did MS in Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois and then came to University of Delaware to do Ph.D in Physics.
As far as academic interest is concerned, that's all I can say about me.
Even though Physics itself is very intriguing and exciting, there are times when it can be very exhaustive and tiring. These are the times, when I turn to music for comfort. Listening to Music is my second nature. I listen to a wide variety of music.From Indian classical music to Jazz. I also love to read. In this site I will try to share my reading experiences from time to time. I am also a huge movie buff.I would also like to post some notes about what I am watching now.
Apart from all these, I would like to post some blogs in Bangla. Anyone interested can visit this link.
In this site I am also going to maintain a web-based database for Bangaldeshi Physicists at North America. This is a project that me and my friend, Masud, took up long back but could not sustain it for long. Now that I have some free time, I would definitely like to revive this project.
