Ohio Edison operates or has an ownership share in 39 generating units that can produce 5,757 megawatts of electricity. This dependable generation is supported by a strong network of 4,575 miles of transmission lines and 26,050 miles of distribution lines. We also have 41 interconnections with neighboring utilities to help ensure system reliability. [ca. 1995] |
