Reverse Internet Challenge

From the movie Meet Joe Black there is a quote in the beginning about love that I (Diana) have been trying to find word for word. Can you find it?? It deals with being in love.

Tried guessing the official movie site (most have them!);
<http://www.meetjoeblack.com/> worked!
No quote was to be found though!
Continuing in my usual fashion, I tried AltaVista: +"Meet Joe Black"
Looked over Movieweb's entry for Meet Joe Black. Nothing...
In looking over the entries posted from AltaVista I noticed that there were script selling services. How could I take a peek?
After searching the web fruitlessly, I decided to try the newsgroups. First I searched DejaNews for Meet Joe Black. Looked over some entries and decided that the Brad Pitt newsgroup would be the best place to go.

I subscribed to alt.fan.brad-pitt and posted the following message, hoping that someone had already bought a script and would be willing to help:

    Subject: Quote from Meet Joe Black
    There is a quote in the beginning of the movie
    about being in love that a friend of mine is
    looking for in its exact wording.  Any help
    would be appreciated; thanks in advance.

Sure enough, I received the following e-mail message from JanieHO@aol.com:

    I recently got the script of this movie.
    Which scene are you exactly talking about?
    I could send you a transcript. Is it the scene
    where Bill Parrish is talking to Susan while
    they are in the plane? Just let me know.

I replied:

    Thanks for the reply.
    I think it was near the beginning.
    (Unfortunately I didn't see the movie.)

              It's not so much what you say about
              Drew, it's what you don't say.

    SUSAN:    You're not listening.

    PARRISH:  Oh yes, I am. Not an ounce of excitement,
              not a whisper of a thrill, this relationship
              has all the passion of a pair of titmice.

    SUSAN:    Don't get dirty, Dad...

    PARRISH:  Well, it worries me. I want you to get swept away.
              I want you to levitate. I want you to sing with
              rapture and dance like a dervish.

    SUSAN:    That's all?

    PARRISH:  Be deliriously happy.
              Or at least leave yourself open to be.

    SUSAN:    "Be deliriously happy". I'm going to do my utmost.

    PARRISH:  I know it's a cornball thing but love is passion,
              obsession, someone you can't live without.
              If you don't start with that, what are you going
              to end up with? I say fall head over heels.
              Find someone you can love like crazy and who'll
              love you the same way back. And how do you find him?
              Forget your head and listen to your heart.
              I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get
              hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there
              is no sense living your life without this.
              To make the journey and not fall deeply in love -
              well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try.

I know it's a cornball thing but love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? I say fall head over heels. Find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart.
