SeminarsSeminars are held through the week and are intended to allow more technical communication between scientists in specialized research areas. Commencement and ConvocationThe graduating class is honored every year at commencement and a convocation lunch in the department. All physics and astronomy graduates are invited to bring family and close personal friends to the convocation lunch at the department. RSVP can be sent to the department office. Conferences
