Fields of Research

My primary research interests are in the broad general areas of the preparation of artificially structured materials and the study of their physical and chemical properties. I am particularly interested in the thermodynamic, magnetic, and electronic transport properties of mesoscopic matter and the effects of surfaces and interfaces on these properties.
