Professor - Theoretical and observational studies of cosmic rays and the solar wind. He is Principal Investigator of the Bartol neutron monitor network, currently comprising 6 stations in Antarctica, Greenland, Canada, and the United States. A principal theoretical interest is to apply modern concepts of turbulence theory to long-standing problems in cosmic ray transport theory.
