Interested in a career in physics, astronomy or physics education?
Approximately one-half of all U. S. physics bachelors graduates in 2000 go immediately into a career with 97% of the graduates finding jobs by the winter
following their graduation. The other one-half of physics bachelor graduates continued their education
in graduate school. The pie chart gives the fractional breakdown of physics
