Support GuidelinesStudents are supported on four types of fellowships during their graduate studies. The lowest of these is the Grading Assistant (GA) followed by a Teaching Assistant (TA), a Research Assistant position (RA) and some exceptional students may be supported on a Research Fellowship (RF). A normal progression for student support is to initially be a TA and then move into a RA position funded by their Research Advisors grant. The following outlines the progression in support.
